Programme Overview

 

Welcome to EVF 2022.

We look forward to seeing you in Venice and joining us at the 22nd annual meeting of the EVF. This is a hybrid event so you will be able to join us either in Person or virtually. There are guidelines from the Italian Government on entering Italy. You will need to show proof of a strengthened SuperPass. Please See the website for further details. It is currently not necessary to wear masks in the conference venue. Masks are required on public transport.

There are 30 oral abstract presentations over 5 abstract sessions and 40 ePoster presentations held throughout the 3 days. In addition to the abstract sessions there are 4 didactic sessions covering areas on the management and treatment of acute DVT, and chronic venous insufficiency. There are also video sessions, Meet the Expert Sessions and Industry sessions. All sessions include time dedicated to discussion which represents the soul of the Congress.

The Keynote lecture not to be missed is given by Professor Ismail Elalamy “Covid-19 and thrombosis: Basis and management of an incendiary duality”.

  • All presentations and Q&A will be live.
  • All delegates will have access to all presentations for up to six months after the meeting.
  • All delegates will receive CME credits (1 CME per hour of attendance) for presentations heard during the conference and for three months after the meeting.

 

EACCME Credits

The conference has been awarded 16 CME credits with the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®). Your attendance at each session will be monitored by the system. At the end of the meeting, you will be sent a link to the evaluation form. Once this is completed you will then be able to download your Certificate of Attendance showing the number of credits you have obtained (1 CME point for each hour of attendance). CME points are available for live sessions viewed and for recorded sessions viewed for up to 3 months after the end of the conference.

 

CME Italian Credits

The conference has been accredited on Womblab’ training platform TrainingECM for Italian participants. Your attendance at each session will be monitored by the system. At the end of the meeting, you will be able to download your Certificate of accreditation on “mine courses” page of the platform. showing the number of credits you have obtained.

TBN: you have to attend at least 90% of the event in order to obtain CME credits.

TBN1: Italian participants who register on TrainingECM may choose to register for the virtual event or for the on sight event; we inform you that according to the form you choose you will get different accreditation.

IMPORTANT: Italian participant who want Italian CME credits need to:

  • register on the official platform of the event. Once you have register on the official platform you need to write and email to this address in order to ask for the registration on TrainingECM
  • You will then be able to register on TrainingECM which is only for obtaining Italian CME credits
