The European Venous Foundation is pleased to announce a new

EVF RESEARCH GRANT

€30,000

 

The EVF Grant Committee seeks applications from candidates who wish to embark on pioneering research, which will result in advancements in management of venous disease. Applicants may choose one of the following fields:

  • Investigation and management of patients with C0s clinical CEAP class
  • Identification of patients with outflow obstruction most likely to benefit from iliac stenting

 

The Grant Committee comprises of members of the Board of the EVF and are all leaders in the field of venous disease.

The proposal should be written in English and include the following:

  • Title and duration of the project
  • Name of Principal Investigator
  • Abstract (including background, hypothesis and aims, methodology, expected results)
  • References
  • Time-scales for implementation and deliverables
  • Names and affiliations and one-page CV for each collaborator
  • Detailed Budget of research
  • Ethical Approval (copies of approval will be required if grant is awarded)
  • Letter of support by the head of the department with overall assurance/confirmation regarding the responsibilities, conduct and scientific credibility of the proposed project
